In the article When Should You Bet The Flop? we saw that players with high FBF values are worth betting against on the flop.
This article will show readers how to find such players, using Poker Office 5.
In the Main Window, go to the Player Search tab.
In the Stat drop down lists, choose Saw Flop %, Nr of Hands, Flop-Turn %, Folded to Bet Flop %, Folded to Raise Flop %.
Filter the Nr of Hands to be above 100 (optional).
Filter Folded to Bet Flop % to be above 40 (I've rounded up the 33.3% threshold to 40%, to allow us a margin for error).
Click the Folded to Bet Flop % table column to sort it by descending order.
In this excercise, we are looking for players with high FBF values. So sorting by the FBF column can help us find these players.
The Saw Flop %, on my example, varies a lot.
Players who play loosely pre-flop, but are tight post flop, seem inconsistent. But will give us plenty of opportunities to bet against.
Players who are tight both pre-flop and post-flop are weak on both sides of the flop. And so are consistently weak. However, there will be fewer opportunities to bet flops against them. However, it would be interesting to see if these players are easier to steal blinds from.
In the Live Tracker window, click the Statistics menu, and then Customize Display.
From the Available Statistics list, select Folded to Bet Flop %, click Add to add it. Then OK to close the window.
You will now have the FoldToBetFlop % to show you the FBF statistic for each player.
